We welcome you to do what feels best for you regarding masking. If you are coughing, hacking, sneezing (even if it’s just allergies– you can usually take a pill for seasonal allergies), have a cold, or have been exposed to COVID-19, PLEASE put on a mask or reschedule. We don’t want to make others feel uncomfortable. Please take common precautions. We always appreciate you and recommend masking, but if you need a mask break, we understand.

However, we as the team at Salon Povera will continue to cover our faces. Many of us have realized we have not had colds over the last two years and don’t want to welcome any potential germs up our noses. So please be mindful and respectful of the stylists. As things continue to improve, you will most likely see our smiling faces.

We will continue to operate in accordance with Durham County and the State of North Carolina while following CDC guidelines. THIS MEANS IF THE RULES CHANGE AND GO BACK TO MASKS BEING REQUIRED, WE WILL TOO. DON’T GET UPSET WITH US IF IT CHANGES.

We’ve continued to keep spacing of 6′ between stations.

We’ve updated our pricing to cover our additional cleaning, sanitation, and supplies to keep you and our staff safe. Things are really creeping up in price. We kept it down for as long as possible. If you see an increase, please be mindful. We have stylists at various pricing and are happy to help you work with any member of our team.

We’re continuing to clean between guests and follow state board recommendations on sanitation and disinfection.
